After nearly 30 years of practicing criminal defense law and winning against DA’s, Leo is the most qualified candidate to fairly and justly prosecute criminals. Leo currently owns and manages a multi-attorney law firm. He has the legal skills, fiscal responsibility and leadership to take over the DA’s office now. As the former Lead Parish Attorney, Leo reorganized the legal department, cut the fat, trained the lawyers and staff under his systems and cleared the docket of cases that were years old. He negotiated and won cases, saving millions of taxpayers’ dollars and identified millions of dollars in the budget that were laying idle. These funds were then made available to support necessary parish projects.
